Learning to play a musical instrument has so many benefits – whether it’s building confidence, enhancing memory, increased comprehension and maths skills, better coordination, increased abstract reasoning skills...

About us

Creative Sounds Music Academy has been providing foundational music education to hundreds of students in London for over ten years. Tuition is based at The Village Prep School in Belsize Park, where we work closely with the school to provide the highest level of music education. We also host Creative Music Camps at The Village Prep School most holidays.

Our Philosophy

Creative Sounds Music Academy’s philosophy is rooted in enriching peoples’ lives through music education and expression.
We believe every student is an important and unique individual whose needs we work tirelessly to meet. All ages and approaches to music learning are catered for, whether it is to introduce students to the language and joy of music, equipping them with the tools necessary in order to express themselves creatively; to help them master a specific instrument and progress up the grades; to assist them on their path to becoming a professional musician; or more widely, to expose them to the profound benefits music offers in the development of intelligence, memory, social and physical skills, and the vast academic and developmental benefits it provides in areas such as maths, literacy, drama and sport.

Many of the students choose to prepare for graded examinations and everyone is encouraged to participate in our End of Year Concert and other performance opportunities.

“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more”
Loris Malaguzzi
