Amy studied viola at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under Liz Turnbull and Composition and Jazz Improvisation under Omar Puente. Both areas of interest have contributed to her passion for improvisation and a love for World music and Jazz, as well as Classical Chamber music and Baroque playing.

Performance opportunities range from appearing on ‘Later with Jools Holland’, to performing to the Pope in Hyde park with the New English Orchestra and Edwin Fawcett and touring around Germany with her band, the Rad Orchestra.

Originally a Violinist, Amy was encouraged to take up the Viola in her late teens and her love for harmony meant that it was a perfect match. Now she has joined the unofficial endangered Viola rebellion and is always on the look out for Violist shaped Violinists.
